Description
The Pull Planning Kit is a complete, ready-to-use facilitation kit designed by Jason Schroeder and the LeanTakt team for running structured pull planning sessions in construction. It contains 20 purpose-built pieces planning surfaces, reference materials, writing tools, and constraint-tracking supplies so your team can walk into a room, set up, and build a committed plan without scrambling for supplies or improvising with whatever’s on hand.
At the core of the kit are five 48×36″ pull planning grids, a 30×40″ dry-erase alignment board, and a 30×40″ magnetic dry-erase constraint board. These are the working surfaces where your team maps out the sequence, tracks constraints with orange magnets, and flags roadblocks with red magnets, making problems visible the moment they come up.
Every kit includes the Pull Planning book by Jason Schroeder, 11 pull planning manuals for session participants, and 5 sets of Build Your Lego Brick pads for structured homework and work-density analysis. Two laminated 11×17″ quick-reference guides one for the facilitator, one for attendees give both roles clear direction before, during, and after the session.
Writing supplies are covered: 30 permanent markers for activity sticky notes, 9 dry-erase markers for boards and grids, 3 white markers for milestone sticky notes, and 20 pens. The kit includes 10 packs of multi-color sticky notes for trade-specific activities, 5 black sticky notes for milestones, 100 name tags with 50 holders, and 30 magnetic push pins for zone maps and board attachments.
The kit supports both Pull Planning 1.0 where teams build information live during the session and Pull Planning 2.0, where structured homework is completed beforehand using the Lego Brick pads and activities can be pre-written. Same facilitation process, two levels of preparation depending on your team’s experience.
Built for general contractors, trade partners, lean facilitators, project owners, consultants, and trainers anyone responsible for getting a team aligned around a realistic, committed production plan.
