How It Works

Five Steps to a Committed Plan

Every item in the kit maps directly to a step in this facilitation
process.

Before People Arrive

Full kit check — phase, scope, milestones, zone map, boards, trade colors all confirmed.

Open the Session

Introductions, note taker, milestones, Conditions of Satisfaction, trade colors, participation rules.

Build the Plan

Forward pass — activity, duration, crew. Backward pass — predecessors, materials, inspections, handoffs.

Verify + Optimize

Copy across zones. Check Takt time, crew strategy, constraints, bottlenecks. Adjust — never the milestone.

Close Out + Commit

Final check, roadblocks captured, trade partners confirm. One team, one plan, one commitment.

Included Guides

Two Guides. Two Roles.

Every kit ships with laminated 11×17″ quick-reference guides — one for
the person facilitating, one for every trade partner in the room.

For the Facilitator

Facilitator Quick Guide

"Facilitate the process. Let the Last Planners own the plan."

For Trade Partners

Attendee Quick Guide

"Know your work. Protect your needs. Own your commitments."

Two Approaches

Pull Plan 1.0 vs. 2.0

This kit supports both. Start with 1.0. Move to 2.0 when your team
is ready for structured homework.

Pull Planning 1.0

Great for teams starting out

Pull Planning 2.0

For experienced teams
